Hi,

the first and second don't do anything special for me. The third is interesting, well composed. I think WB is slightly off, but not sure. The fourth is quite colourful, I like it. Fifth is nice too, but I think a different crop would have improved it.

Nice series, nonetheless.

JMR, the second has cool texture - I like this kind of shot... My favorite of the series is the fourth - I think it could be even better with a levels/curves adjustment to recover some of the highlight details.

As usual, JMR, your work continues to inspire and awe me in the same instant. #3 and #4 are simply perfect ; just wonderful shots. Always enjoy your work, JMR.

Thank you all for the feedback. Heliphoto, as a long time slide photographer, I have learned visual discipline, because with slides, there are no corrections - what you see is what you get. I agree that some photos can use adjustments, especially with respect to colour casts (the overcast skies produce bluish images in shade -like areas, forest canopy, etc.), but these are simply resized and posted.

Gawan, yes I had a wonderful three days. I would have preferred overcast skies and to have arrived one week earlier. I missed out on Algonquin park with its sweeping vistas and rolling highlands. But missed opportunites is just an invitation to return.
