@Reh321 Ain't that the truth. The thing that I always loved about this shot was that both the sun and full moon were together (although somewhat buried behind the cloudy haze that so often covers the Santa Cruz sky). The beach is where the power of the ocean meets the peacefulness of the sand, where danger meets safety. For a damn-near-fifty hippie like myself, the sun. moon, waves and sand feels like home. I was 15 when I took this shot, but there's still nothing like home. I still spend every Christmas on that same break....but stick to the baby waves now
