A vintage lens
Lens: Takumar 135mm F3.5 Camera: Pentax K5 Photo Location: N/A ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/500s
Posted By: stgw, 10-24-2019, 12:33 PM

My version of the lens is Takumar 135 mm F3.5, chrome and black. It was made between 1957 to 1961. I bought the lens together with a Pentax genuine a M42 to K mount conversion ring for only 10 dollars. Recently, I had a chance to try this lens on my old K5. The images look very sharp. The original images were a bit less contrast due to backlighting, so I adjusted the curve and level.

Wow, heaps of colour saturation there. I also like the 2nd and third shots in particular.

The lens is pretty sharp even wide open. The first one was taken with the lens wide open. The 2nd image was taken using F5.6. Both were taken under overcast sky. The color is beautiful too!

Aye there's many a gem in Pentax older glass, as these fine images show.
