I'd like to see the background a bit brighter. I guess you shot these outside so a brighter time of day would have been better. Or maybe a step longer exposure.

Anyway, good shots

thanks.
in reality i shoot these in daylight.
i underexposed a lot the ambient light and use an umbrella left to light the subject.
i haveframe with lighter background but IMHO they are not as efficient.

Jonny, they're much better than I would have gotten but, since he is a cook, why not somethign to do with the food he specialises in.

There's nothing in these pictures that indicated what his trade is except, perhaps, the unform and apron. No even a hat.

The paint on the fence I thought might have been splattered blood - tongue-in-cheek.

The coloured version is more animated and lively.

also if u are a juventus suporter, i hate juventus i'm a torino supporter),
i accept our suggestion. I think we decided to skip the classic pose in kitchen, we want more drama and different set up showing more the characther of the guy.next week we'll take also something different, some light but different setup.
i have also one with a hat:

in the firs the back is more lighted and i don't like it, probably working in pp will fix it. second is better for me. but the first work far better. the expression the hand, everything shw this guy is handsome and funny.

Torino, didn't they start from Juve players? but it matters not, I love the game and Serie A - I'm not an ultra.

Yes of course, a good idea to try something different than "usual kitchen shot". On the other hand why not just a shot of sitting in the garden with a glass of wine.

I'm sure you can show he's a looker but, how do you show he's funny?

I like the original Color version and I think the last one with the eggbeather you are on to something there ? Can he juggle ? Juggling some eggs might be a good shot. The humor comes out in the #1 very nicely
