Follow the Signs to the Haunted House
Lens: A 50mm f1.7 Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Northern Michigan ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F1.7

There is a road called the Tunnel of Trees along the shore of Lake Michigan north of a town called Harbor Springs, and we stopped at this small/interesting gift shop/café. I liked the log cabin construction and the décor on the front porch.

I like the second shot. It looks like a welcoming place indeed, to repose our feet after a walk in the forest!

Thanks for the comment! It is a great little place to stop, and quite popular with the people who come up to view the trees.

The first photo has a very unique composition, but I wish it was sharper. Good colors & pop too.

Thank you nanhi! I probably could have shot the first photo at a higher f-stop, the old A 50mm f1.7 is not that sharp wide open, but I wanted to isolate the sign.

Nice

I like the depth of field in the first shot, Todd. It's clear that the priority is on those signs, and they're nicely sharp. The transition to out of focus in the background leaves plenty of context.
