Nice feeling to that image! I always wanted to see one of these covered bridges when I was a kid, since they don't grow them here in Oz. I would see them on TV though!

Nice covered bridge.
We had a very old one until a recent 1000year flood wiped it right out. Apparently the flood picked up a small rv trailer and ran it down the creek into the bridge. I drove by recently and notice they put up a new sign that now says "Former site of the Bob White covered bridge." Seems kind of odd but considering everything in the area is named after it...

Thank you reh. It's about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh Pa.

Nice shot! The name is a bit confusing when it's a bridge not a mill, but I guess the district is called McConnell's Mill after a mill that used to be there?

It wasn't until I saw a covered bridge in Quebec that I realised snow was the reason for putting a roof on a bridge. It's not the sort of thing which occurs to you when you live in a country that hardly sees snow!
