All My Ducks in a Row
Lens: Pentax-M 50mm f:1.4 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Idaho ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/750s Aperture: F8

Taken at a local lake. The ducks were supposed to be one of the main elements in this image, but they are barely visible unless you look closely.

Nice, tranquil scene. The dash of color makes it more interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Best.

Thanks, CV. I was caught on this outing with only one lens.... the Pentax-M 50mm f:1.4, so I was sort of limited in how I could compose this image. It was a long way from what I had in mind, but hopefully I can get a better shot this fall. I've discovered another entrance to the lake shore.

If you had a zoom, or could format vertically instead of horizontally, then perhaps you would have a chance at your original subject, but perhaps this was just a time when you should enjoy the beauty of the scene itself.

The sun was very quickly fading, I had the wrong lens.... and I just shot whatever I could. I'm going back this fall with an 18-135mm lens and hopefully, I can get something that suits me better.

The ducks get lost in the image, but that's a pretty WOW sunset.
