No these are part of the Calanais Standing Stones on the Isle of Lewis, which are believed to be 3000 - 5000 years old.

This landscape is very attractive in its starkness.

A bit of magic added to the photo. Great lack of colors! The stones give nice point of interest.

Very well composed, from the ancient stones to the far distant hills and as you said big skies. Great job.

Actually Kerrowdown has been unusually modest with the truth, Calanish is a fairly complicated site and there are a lot more standing stones there than appears in his photo which seems to prove the old adage - less is more - and in this case quite a lot more.

Aye I’m quite partial to a big sky, they always feature in my landscape work.
