Forest canopy with sun flare, blue sky captured coming through with no abberation

Backlight with few color aberrations is hard to do - I celebrate any time the unwanted artifact is missing in action!

Nice!

That little 35mm gets more use than I ever thought it would. On APS-C cameras it fills in nicely for the cropped a bit long 50mm.

Thinking about artifacts, I've had troubles quartering toward the sun with any wide angle lens due to the reflections that bounce around in the lens from the sun even though it's out of frame. Just the right hood can help keep it from getting in there.

Also, one thing I found more obvious when I was trying to take moon shots is that some UV filters add to the internal reflections. I usually remove the skylight before doing that.
