Great photo! I was a bit sad that the Q didn't sell much outside Japan.

Thank you! I was too. It would have been nice to see a macro lens for the Q and maybe another version (with a viewfinder). I also liked the fun colors that Japan buyers had access to.

Agreed - although the K50 probably takes the prize for the most colour variations.

A very nice image. Awesome sharpness, beautiful bokeh and the exposure I would say is spot on. )

Meerkats are great photographic subjects. They are so active and seem to love posing for the camera with a wide range of expressions. I just love photographing them. The big challenge for me is trying to make them look like they're not in a zoo (the only place I can see them), which if you shot this at a zoo you did a very good job of hiding that (I can't tell). If you shot this in the wild it's even better.
