A blue velvet spider! Can't say I've ever seen one. Very nice shot.

Nice shot, indeed. Is that spider dangerous? If so, good thing that it's not that good when it comes to camouflage.

Nice picture of a Beautiful spider! That looks alot like our brownish gray fishing spiders.. Dolomedes tenebrosus, It shouldnt be in California if it is... maybe its related.. sure looks like one of the Dolomedes.
