First successful night sky photo shoot - caught the andromeda.
Lens: Pentax 18-135 WR Camera: Pentax k-70 Photo Location: Stanislaus National Forest, CA ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F3.5

This is my first time having some success with night time photography in general, and especially with my gps astrotracer unit. Such a treat because I live in a big city and rarely get to get out in the wild far enough to enjoy such beautiful sky!

how bright is your city? These are nice, I want to try some in OKC before I plan a 6 hour drive to the nearest Light pollution free area.

Thanks! I live in San Francisco, so not only pretty bright but also foggy...

Not much fog here. I live right next to an airport though. Those runway lights make it mid-day when the clouds are out.
