Cottage in the woods
Posted By: roentarre, 10-18-2008, 05:38 AM

A place I happened to drop by today. I was lost in this trip together with Neil and spotted this while we were disoriented in the woods ...

Colour editing or just mad fringing?

Which one is it, James?

Either way, I wouldn't mind staying there for a couple of days.

Beautiful shot James. I would love to be lost in a place like this. It's always fun to be able to find your way into an area, and wonder about what had happened to get there. Besides it's not being lost just temporarily misplaced.

Colour editing, Dan. I had been treating pentax PF as a necessity in life these days

I must be so lucky. Everytime I visited a bush, I get lost. This is all meant to be

That looks like the kind of house where very tall small people live, you have to watch out for them, they can be dangerous and head butt your kneecaps.
Just hope its only your kneecaps they aim for...

Nice shot Roentarre....any more? hope you explored it a bit.
Cheers.

Didn't I just see this pic in PPG? Congrats if so - you certainly deserved it. If not than I should have.

I did just they are left unprocessed. Staying in my computer hard drive atm. I am in the frenzy over Olympus gear atm so some shots are taken and left untouched.

Going for another run on the weekend. I love summer in melbourne

Nah, I have not submitted images there for quite some time. Too time consuming and it is more fun just to do what I like rather than ingratiating the unknown personalities.

In fact, Melbourne is quite dull on the surface. There is quite a lot to explore. Most are hidden treasure. I am sure this shot is not as easily reproducible by others as I do not see this shot that much.

Stay away from tourists!

Great contrast. The colors of the roof of the old building sure stands out.

Nice images, james.

That piece of land with that old dilapidated building would have worth millions of dollars in our country

There are plenty of deserted structures like that in Melbourne. I am in the process of photographying this sort of things these days. Different and more unique than popular tourist resorts.

Thanks for your time browsing through this

Hi Marc, glad to see you browsing around I rely on weekend outing as a therapeutic option for mood stabliser.

The walk is nice until I realise I was pretty much lost in the woods.
