Cottage in the woods
Posted By: roentarre, 10-18-2008, 05:38 AM

A place I happened to drop by today. I was lost in this trip together with Neil and spotted this while we were disoriented in the woods ...

Yeah, kind of spooky as well. But as soon as the light comes out to give that little bit of flow, I cannot help to click on my camera.

That looks like the kind of house where very tall small people live, you have to watch out for them, they can be dangerous and head butt your kneecaps.

definitely a desolate feel to it.. I like the lean to that little building too. Getting lost isn't such a bad thing if you get images like this whilst finding your way back...

They would not be so tall to me since I am quite short :P

It does strike me at the time looking at this scene ...

Safe home eventually after GBS saved us. My local government is selling appauling maps even the local national park maps were quite unreliable.

Yes, Dan. Provided that I actually came back to the civilisation ...

It sucks the colour out of typical high contrasty Australian Terrain. The green is accentuated by me

James,
Can't put my finger on it but this photo brings out some strong emotions in me. They aren't pleasant ones either but I like the photo.

A little like something supernatural, right?

The light has that kind of glow that spooked me. Spirits? High energy waves?

I am not sure. It is surely something scary...
