Interesting shot. I'm trying to figure out where that tree actually is. Great reflections!

The whole tree is the reflection. They're Cypress so very wide at the bottom.
Thanks.

That really is an interesting capture! The reflections on both sides of the Gator are just really cool. It gives the image a very Unique look.

That gator looks dwarfed by the trees initially but then I realized its not a big gator, thats a Juvenile right? Maybe 3-4 feet?

Nice job!!

Yeah it's a young one, probably around 4' as you mention. Can't be trusted, the small ones are quick and goofy

Great image, Dana!! That little guy has a menacing grin! Is this the Cypress Swamp south of Ratliff Ferry? If it is, I've got to get up there for some shots sometime.

That's the one. Spring and fall are the best times, full summer and I suspect they've gone into the river. 8 to 11 am range.
Good Luck.

Nah. Gators are slow compared to Crocs (ie Crocodile Hunter). Pretty much ignore human. Small ones can be quick over short distance.
