Nice view!

Now you’ll have capability of getting even more intimate view - getting even closer and but using new lens to get this framing or even wider!!
Yep now I'll be totally confused.

Beautiful shot Larry! I really love that big tree. It really frames the shot along with the dried grasses in the foreground.
Thanks so much, Todd, I appreciate your comment!!

What a great capture. Man oh man.... I'd love to be able to wander around that area. So much so see, so many artifacts to use, such a beautiful sky.

Trees and water, we don't have that here in the desert. I need to retire to someplace like that.
Thanks for the comment, but you also don't have an abundance of mosquitoes or very high relative humidity. Life is full of trade offs.

Lots of eye catching texture. I feel like the right half is almost too dark. Was it a grad ND, or dodge in PP?
Thanks, I appreciate your comment!! Actually I lifted the shadows in the foreground grass just a bit!!

Actually, you engaged in "Art" - this photo tells people what they want to see {looking at the pretty stuff}, not everything if you look it all directions {that is for Theta}
Well I was "takin pitchers"! Well luckily I'm not in the running for a Theta, it would totally ruin my "Art".

Quite impressive. I've avoided getting a super zoom, but your photo may have changed my mind!
many thanks, I appreciate your comment! I've found the Sigma 18-200 f3.5-6.3 Contemporary makes a pretty nice walk around lens for my K-3. For some reason DXO has never profiled this particular lens so I have to modify the lens data in Maker notes to a slightly older Sigma 18-200 to use the profiling of DXO but the lens is a really nice lens.

Thanks, Dewey, My Friend, I always appreciate your comment!! This was shot March 15th of this year, just about getting into spring but there was still winter like cloud cover that day! We usually get dramatic clouds around here winter through late summer because we are rather close to the Gulf of Mexico and its humidity. Thanks for the visit!!
