Trees and water, we don't have that here in the desert. I need to retire to someplace like that.

Very nice. I know it is a long way from where Thoreau was, but somehow the image immediately said "Walden Pond" to me. I guess that is the power of the imagery. (Incidentally, I have that model Sigma as well. It usually lives on my K-01. It is a very good lens.)

Nice view!

Now you’ll have capability of getting even more intimate view - getting even closer and but using new lens to get this framing or even wider!!

You’d be disappointed by Walden - last time I saw it had power boats like any other “civilized” body of water.

Beautiful shot Larry! I really love that big tree. It really frames the shot along with the dried grasses in the foreground.

Lots of eye catching texture. I feel like the right half is almost too dark. Was it a grad ND, or dodge in PP?

Thanks, Pete, this is a little lagoon off of a large water shed reservoir in our area and just to the left out of frame is a boat landing and dock. Photos can be a bit deceptive. Thanks for the visit!!

Actually, you engaged in "Art" - this photo tells people what they want to see {looking at the pretty stuff}, not everything if you look it all directions {that is for Theta}

Quite impressive. I've avoided getting a super zoom, but your photo may have changed my mind!
