Tanker 130 Cannon Fire Crash Memorial · **2 Likes**

In memory of the C-130 tanker Crew that perished on June 17, 2003 when their firefighting airplane crashed here, while fighting the nearby Cannon Fire. Steve Wass, Craig Labare and Mike Davis, rest in peace, and thank you for giving your all to save the people who live nearby from the wildfires.

I was fascinated by all the shirts, patches and other items left by firefighters from all over the country, showing solidarity.
