Two quick portraits with the FA50/1.4
Posted By: pasipasi, 10-19-2008, 05:49 AM

Hi

I've been without a digital body for a month now and I've been editing some photos from my archives to put online. First one is taken with K10d, 2nd with K100d Super and both with my FA50. I took a bit of saturation away and added some blue with the curves tool in gimp, then added some contrast. What do you think?

maybe you can do some editing to the accessory above her lip? it looks as if it its a different layer laying on top of the original photograph. (in fact it appears sharper than all the other details). but im no pro though.

edit:
my apologies if its a birthmark / mole.

It's a piercing and is in the focus area while the skin behind it isn't, that's why it's sharper than the lips. I wouldn't want to edit it out

I like these. One can sense the mood of the ordinary day.
Eye contact in the second picture is really nice.

Many thanks for the comments! I hope I get my K10d back next week so I can do some shooting.

Nice portraits, I much prefer the candid to the formal.
