Shropshire White Horse
Posted By: Sunburn, 11-13-2019, 07:21 AM

A wet and cold morning up on the Shropshire hills this weekend, with a sunrise you could have put money on.
Broken cloud and a calm wind quickly changed to a driving weather front from the Welsh Valleys, that swept in and brought rain and snow.
Making our way back to the car for shelter I noticed a small gathering of horses making their way down from the higher ground in search of more comfortable temperature and conditions. Well worth getting a soaking for.

I hope you enjoy!

The horse just glows! Are you sure it wasn't some ancient equine spirit? I love the mood of the image, although I feel a bit sorry for the horse being out in the rain (they don't usually carry umbrellas after all).

Well, this is very difficult - everybody else got here before me and said it all!

Stupendous!! Incredibly atmospheric! As a number of posters have said, like a poster for a movie. And yes, I can imagine that print - must make a real eye-catcher on the wall.

That is a fine image indeed.

Well worthy of the "print it big and hang on the wall" status... I reserve this for just a few, very special ones on mine.
