Even Galahs have bad hair days sometimes.

On the same walk through hills barren in the drought, I saw a few other birds.

I really am impressed by the DA 55-300 PLM. It's a lot easier to carry than the DFA 150-450!

Thanks! It makes a great travel lens with the HDDA 16-85.

Thanks! I bought the PLM mostly because it promised to focus faster, and I hoped to use it for photographing aircraft, but it is also handy for birds and wildlife, and the design is more compact than the older DA 55-300 which I already had. The performance of the lens considering its design is surprisingly good.

Thank you! I was sure that one of the Galah photos would be OK, but I actually wasn't expecting the quality of the others.
