Thanks! There's a lot of detail in there. So far this season, almost 500 homes have been destroyed and about a million hectares of land burned. There's still a number of fires which are out of control with no prospect of decent rain to put them out. Temperatures will be around 40C this week with more wind to fan the flames again. So, not great is the answer to your question.

Thanks! Any time you have Meerkats, one will be on guard, so the pose isn't a challenge, but getting the right angle can be.

I realised many years ago that any photo of an animal had to have the eyes in focus - it's what our brains expect.
