Landscape Color or B&W?

Intended this to be a B&W....Now I can't decide.

Opinions?

Both are beautiful, but I prefer the color version.

It depends what effect you are looking for. The colour enhances the sunshine highlight on the trees, while the B&W brings out the texture. You can also play more with contrast in B&W without it looking unnatural.

I also think color is great, no so much for B&W. In the latter the tones tend to be similar resulting in large similar areas, while the colors differentiate them. And I like the color palette.

I prefer the black and white image here, but I have a confession to make: that's true of me about 75% of the time. Love the mystical feel in this shot!

I like the color one if it was to be printed and displayed on a wall. The bacl version for a coffee table book.

I like the color version. It seems like the B&W version is losing more detail in the shadows.
