In the club again
Posted By: metroeloise, 10-19-2008, 07:38 PM

I am blessed to live in a town that has national and international acts stop in to play our small intimate venues. It inspires our local talent. Even the young ones play their hearts out.

Comments and criticisms welcomed.

Where in Bellingham is this interesting little club. I have a buddy that lives just North of Bellingham and may be up for some local entertainment options next time I visit

Well The ones from recent posts, here and on my flickr account, are from The Wild Buffalo. Worth a look at the listings when you're in town. Also The NightLight Lounge is reopening and they've had amazing shows there. I'll be posting some of their last night shots on my flickr. (done on my canon s5is ~pre-Pentax.)

Both of these have great sound and the crowd is friendly.

IM me and I'll make suggestions.

I'd say I love the first one but the guitar is dead in the centre leaving the left side busy with... whatever it is in there, which spoils the shot

I see what you mean.

It is interesting with shots you really can't set up, like in a studio; or even give much direction. There was the guitar. I was thinking b&w or destaurated to give an atmosphere.

What to do about the stuff on the side. The black drum works well. Simply fade out the other side? mask and darken? Clone the drum? crop?

What do you think?

I'll try them all later on and see. an use the learning, the skills building.

I work graveyard (puts me on downunder time) and tired now.
