That is quite a spectacular view. Mighty Sun over the tiny trees. Dark silhouettes look great!

Very good image Rob. I have seen plenty of these sunsets here in California as well, unfortunately.

Thanks! I did tweak the curves slightly in post processing, because there was no true black in the image from the camera.

Yes, the fires have been bad in California too. Any idea what area of land has been affected? I hope you guys get rain soon too. We may get some storms next week, but they may be dry lightning storms and actually start more fires.

Thanks! So far in NSW over 1.6 million hectares and over 150 homes. A lot more fires in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia as well.
