Old and New

It must be surprising to most that the country of Jordan has one of the most well preserved Roman ruins in the world after Italy. However, it is amazing to see how everything around these ruins has developed. Shows a good contrast between old ans new.

Excellent series of shots showing the contrast between old and new! Thanks for sharing the background information too. I've learnt something new today.
Best.

All four are very good pictures. I like the first for a very nice capture and the fourth for numerous, impressive details you have included.

All these shots are very evocative, but #1 is in a class by itself for visceral impact IMO. Millennia captured in 1/100 second (or thereabouts).
Great series.
