"Oh We Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside"
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 11-23-2019, 01:46 PM

I saw this impending scene and thought this...

So, just let me be, beside the seaside

I'll be beside, myself with glee

Taken in a spare hour or so, between shoots (Rhodes, looking across to Turkey).

I like the light and dark areas, very dramatic. Your PP choices are unsettling...makes it look like just before the aliens invade, or the hurricane hits...maybe Godzilla about to rise from the sea. I love it.

Fantastic scene and PP... the light/shadow interplay and geometry is interesting, and the mood is portentous.

Was this taken just before everyone fled the oncoming tempest?

Then you won't mind a slightly negative word - I would prefer that you stand a tad closer so that the people aren't so tiny - but I would never seriously question your artistry.

Wow, that sky looks very dramatic, in fact the whole photo looks very other worldly

Not at all crack on...

Aye but then IMHO... the sky would lose both it's grandeur and it's ominous nature.

We and others should always question artistry, otherwise nothing improves or evolves.
