Venus and Jupiter

I was in a hurry on my way to the office, and didn't realize that it was a bit OOF but I kind of like it anyway.

Photo do not show up in the thread but clicking on it allowed to see it on Flickr. I like it personally. Impressive that they were both so bright. Another thing that impressed me is the fact that you used the 55-300 PLM for a astro shot, I would have never thought of that. What was the focal length?

Thanks- I think I fixed the link. This one was only 108mm, a few were at 300. Sharp would have been better, but at least I came away with something Venus is brilliant right now, but Jupiter is on the other side of the Sun, and still fairly bright. These conjunctions don't happen too often.

I like the scene, the tone of the sky, and the contrast, great shot.
