Nice shot. I wonder why such a small aperture setting though?

Mostly I was simply playing with the depth, no real practical reason.

Me too. However, it has been much milder here this year than in Alberta.

This shot brings back fond memories of living in Ohio. I loved to hike in the snow at a local state park. Very peaceful.

The coldest it ever got was -24°F. Not as bad as Alaska, but not an experience I'd care to repeat either.
