The sun rises and the moon sets, late morning October 19.
K10 using a Focal 500mm with Focal 2X teleconverter, handheld. No just kidding. I used a tripod and remote. 1/60 shutter at probably f22.


On this circumstance, if I screwed the 500 onto the tele until it locked, the only display I saw on my K10 was "f--". I loosened it slightly and was then allowed to see shutter speed display and operate the shutter. The camera was in manual settings.
I am sure it is something with the way the older 500 connects to the tele as I have no other problems with other lenses using the tele but I have not tried the combination since then either. Anyone want to have a guess why the "f--" appeared or are you going to make me look it up in my manual?
