Those are rare around here, I'd imagine in AU it's really rare!

Beautiful. Thx for posting. One of my favourite cars was the '63 to'67 Corvette Sting Ray. Boss had a '64 convertible, which I drove. This was back in the late '60's.

I still recall seeing my first Corvette Sting Ray Coupe....it was October '62, I was walking to school with my buddies and there it was, driving down the street. It was the '63 Split Window coupe (best looking Vette ever IMO), 327 cube , fuel injection...360 HP, 4 speed. The owner was a Chevy dealer who lived a couple of streets away from our house.

Sure does. This generation of Corvette spanned my late high school - early college years. Of course, I wanted one, but I had a special lust for a Shelby Cobra or Jag XKE - both of which had the clean, smooth lines I admire even today.

If it was black, it's be perfect. Had a friend, Bear, who had one of these and I lusted for it. Riding around with Bear was the highlight of my teen years.
