As said earlier, lovely contrast in colour with the toucan really standing out against the background. Beautiful birds.

A colourful bird. They always look strange to me, but I guess we have birds that would look strange to others as well.

Thanks everybody for your kid comments! Panama as well as Costa Rica are well known by birdwatchers for the rich biodiversity, lots of beauties to discover in the area.

Amazing results for a shot taken with a teleconverter. Looks like that lens and tele work very well together. Nicely done!

yes they do work well together as long as you have enough light as I did in that situation.

!very good. usually i'm not fond of nature photos (however i love nature very much), but this one catched my eye with colourful toucan on unsaturated background. and the bird itself is beautiful of course
