Standing Sideways
Lens: Pentax-DA 55-300mm PLM + 1.4X TC Camera: Pentax KP

I usually see this Nuthatch walking up and down trees - facing downward like a Squirrel - so I guess any way he wants to stand on the bird feeder that works is OK. He is the only bird I've seen not standing upward there, though.

Thank you for commenting. Even the fairly large woodpecker stands upright. He may stand on the side a tad and reach around so he'll fit, but he is upright. The is the only bird I've seen side-wise on the feeder.
