the highest shroom in the forest
Lens: vivitar 1:2.8 mc 28mm Camera: pentax k-50 Photo Location: Kurzeme ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

this shot of a dead birch was taken partially against the evening light, it's only while postprocessing the highest mushroom in forest was discovered living at the very top of this tree.

!thank you it was swampy area in forest, seems like it became too wet for the tree and it died slowly.

Interesting shot. That mushroom is going to spread its spores a looooong way!

I would have never thought this poor thing was a tree before. Indeed, must be really wet to get a mushroom on its top. Thanks for sharing this unique shot.

Great photo! It must have been really damp for that mushroom to grow on top.
