Thanks everyone! The one on the left is ours, and the lab on the right is a friend's lab. This was a tricky shot to take, neither wanted to stay on that log for long, too many fun things to check out in the woods. They're fun together, chase each other around until they're tired out.

I find it interesting that the two dogs are looking in completely different directions. Either nothing in particular interests them or everything interests them. From what you say, it is the second choice - 'so many things to check out and this guy wants us to just sit here for couple of minutes'.

I really like this. The fact that they are looking in different directions and neither of them at the camera really works.

It's definitely the later, everything interests them. It's funny, they both get an incredible amount of training, but the log was a bit slippery, and they very much did not want to "stay" on it.
