This fairly close to the headwaters of the Little Susitna River, though still many miles away. The temperature was +9f and a bit breezy. It was actually 1/100s.

This is another winter where I'm missing scenes like this from Idaho now that we're living in Texas - really pretty capture. I like that the blues in the sky and water are vibrant. It almost has a film quality to it - any idea what camera setting or post processing step caused that? The background looks grainy and the way the highlights are... just reminds me of color film. Really pretty.

I didn't really have to do much. There was some warm color from the light coming through a partially cloudy sky on the background while the waterway was not in the sunlight. The settings were pretty mundane at f4.5, ISO 100 and 1/100s. I have to give credit to the KP for the realistic color rendition.
