Saccharum spontaneum - Wild sugarcane grass
Originally from the Sub Indian Continent was imported here as they say involuntarily as a ship went trough the canal some seeds flew off in the wind and it has become an invasive species that takes over croplands and pasturelands and is hard to get rid off.

I don't like invasive species of any kind, but this sure is a beautiful image -- sharp where it should be and a beautiful blue in the background.
