Pentax Australia 100th Birthday Official Event, Sydney 9/12/2019
Posted By: BruceBanner, 12-09-2019, 05:17 AM

Hey peeps!

I'm just back from a wonderful night of mingling with fellow Pentaxians at the official 100th birthday bash event. I wanted to create a single thread where we could all add our images and share some footage from the meet up as well share our experiences and what we thought about it all. I haven't processed any images myself yet, but please feel free to add some images and comments to this thread here.

I just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself and loved talking to new and familiar faces

Cheers!

BB (Eddy Summers)

Obviously a woman of good taste.
Did you not read the part where I explained how fickle she is and if a subsequently supremely attractive male specimen is adorning such trend then all is forgiven...

Aye but that's called selective "Eye Candy"... it's a bit like we men have developed "Selective Hearing", when it come to chores or going shopping.

But being as he's Mr Clem Kennedy of C.R. Kennedy & Company Pty Ltd, Australia's foremost importer and distributor of Surveying Photographic Medical CCTV and Outdoor/Hunting products... one would have that he'd have a plentiful supply of such things.

What do photographers do at a party? Take photos of course! Lissy was there to help.

I have proper confirmation that he is 'Kazunobu Saiki, Chairman President, Ricoh China (Shanghai)'.

My wife also is not a fan of the no socks look. It's a fashion trend so she tells me but its not winning her over on this occasion. But she is full of it... if for example Michael Fassbender did this look she would be perfectly ok with it...
Thank you, much appreciated!

Will have a group of photos up in another day or two, I very rarely shoot under lights, I'm usually out in the open at Cosplay events, so it was a great experience for me to do some night photography.

Did you get a strap as a gift! I only got the lens cap, and it was the strap I was really after.

The body caps were a generous gift on arrival; I scored a strap for unexpectedly participating in a very short video interview .

I got a strap for posting a photo of the event on Facebook. I really needed a new strap for the K3!
