Thank you, I think the colouring is being reflected off the water.

I think you're right. Most of my experience is being on the open prairie...vast range lands of grain crops, ranches...etc. We don't get much ocean...or dolphins... out here... for that matter.

Terrific shot.

During our 20 years of sailing Galveston Bay, we saw plenty of these guys - they can really put on a show. I enjoyed photographing them, although few shots were keepers.

A few times, these characters would swim under the boat, surface, and below - one time we were becalmed, and a dolphin appeared next to the boat blowing water: scared the hell out of us!

Anyway, I enjoyed your photo - brings back lots of memories.
