In 1981, Pentax made 300 LX cameras coated in 18 carat gold with what looks like crocodile leather trim.
This was displayed at the Pentax 100th anniversary event in Sydney.

Yeah she's perfectly fine now, but it's only so often you get a Pentax event happening in Sydney, especially one marking a century! I'll make sure to make her pay (sometime later in her life) for making me miss this event. hahaha

Genuinely would hate for people to view Pentaxians as gaudy, unless we had to actually commit with a gangsta rapper persona.

Titanium might be a better choice. Any colour from silver to azure blue, and impossible to dent.

Tested at up to mach 3.

I'd like to know what different properties might do to the actual cameras and if they would differ greatly from one another (same camera model different materials for bodies).

With Titanium you ought to be able to make an extremely sturdy camera body - great for industrial use - with more space inside. But the shell would be horrendously expensive.
