One of the most beautiful planes ever made IMHO. Too bad it was a weapon of war, but it got a lot of fliers home due to its ruggedness. Nice catch!

Ironically, designed by a German immigrant, too! On the other hand, only a mother could love the aesthetics of the Liberator.

I saw it on the ground, when it was being restored in 2015. It is nice to see a photo of it in the air since then.

A great aircraft. And it could take some punishment and still keep flying! I have great respect for those who flew it.
