Last of my tests : 645 FA 80-160 mm f/4.5
Lens: 645 FA 80-160 mm f/4.5 Camera: Pentax 645Z Photo Location: Quebec Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F11
Posted By: RICHARD L., 12-12-2019, 04:11 PM

Tripod-mounted Pentax 645Z with an FA 80-160 mm zoom @ 143 mm. This lens completes my trio of FA 45-85 mm, FA 80-160 mm and FA 150-300 mm. Three used lenses in like-new condition that cost me 850 $ in all.

How would it look if you cut away the blue sky?

Great shot. Bold colors and lots of shingles, I like it.

I love this composition. Was it a crop?

It's not a crop. Zoom lenses let you compose precisely the framing that you want. In 2019, I acquired an FA 45-85 mm, this FA 80-160 mm and an FA 150-300 mm and I can pretty much do whatever I want now.

that blue is very blue.
Nice contrast between the shingles and the window frames.

Looks like the lens is a keeper because the shot is excellent.

Was thinking the same - but it would lose a lot of dynamics / makes the image very dull. Cool shot!

I like the contrast that the sky provides even though it takes a bit away from the perspective.
