I wouldn't call this a "killer" shot. I was testing a lens (Vivitar 300mm/5.6 M42) and took this shot of the neighbor's yard.

With a Ricoh Diacord:

With an Actual Pentax digital camera and lens:

With a Pentax film camera and 16-45 lens:

Obviously, the last three are AFTER Halloween

That's sad.... Vlad III, the Impaler, one of your long departed countrymen...

(Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia called "Vlad the Impaler" (that is, Vlad Ţepeș, also known as Vlad Dracula or simply Dracula, in Romanian Drăculea; 1431 – December 1476), was a Wallachian (southern Romania) voivode. His three reigns were in 1448, 1456–1462, and 1476. Vlad the Impaler is known for the exceedingly cruel punishments he imposed during his reign. In the English-speaking world, Vlad III is best known for inspiring the name of the vampire in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula.) From Wikipedia

...serves as the inspiration of many a tiny goblin, around here.

And then Bram Stoker came and moved Vlad up north, endowed him with a literal taste for blood and made him grow some serious toothage.
