I have removed the inside filter and put an infrared one instead, but as it is not cheap to make it done, I did it myself... and the first time there was way too much dusts on it...
There is still some after the second time... but I think it is more manageable in post processing than dismount it a third time !

Great IR composition. I really want an IR camera, but want to find someone who'll do the conversion professionally.

Really nice, if my K-50 ever decides to kill the aperture block completely - I'd convert to IR and use M42 lenses.

Hmm ... I have a K-01 and *ist DS biting dust, thinking of converting one of them. Doubting to ask a company to do conversion. My fear is that it's a nice gimmick to use only once or twice. Do enjoy the IR photography?

Yes, but it's true it's limited, and I use it a few times on a year.
