Big mouth!!!
Lens: da 300 Camera: k3 Photo Location: CT ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F11

They are beautiful birds but if you heard them you would probably think singing wasn't their strong point! Now eating, that they excel at!

Beautiful bird, beautiful shot, nice job! And yes, their singing leaves much to be desired. I feel the same way about Blue Jays.

Great capture Al! I love the surrounding grass it really makes the egret stand out.

Thanks Todd, this State Park has done alot of marsh restoration which makes it attractive the birds.. The Herons and Egrets love it.
