Thanks for commenting. Sometimes I give the vibrance a little boost.
Originally posted by K2 to K50 I can't afford Lightroom or Paintshop etc, but I do have Paint.net, Irfanview, and the Ricoh Digital Camera utility. I have played with some of the artistic effects (gradients etc) in Powerpoint, and have to learn how to use the features of the photographic processing programs I do have. Some of the examples (this one included) I have seen in these forums of what people can do with these programs is astonishing.
Eye-stopping!
Thanks. A lot is possible. I try not to add anything merely boost what is there especially in the background and take out some spots. You tube has many LR videos. I suppose there are others dedicated to your software. Always something to learn.

Thank you. The background was very bland. Radial filters work a treat in this regard.

Thanks for your comment.
Originally posted by PJ1 Very nice. But your PP-speak is way beyond this 'boy from the bush'.
Thanks. Mosquite Creek, is that near Lake Eppalock?

Thank you. I have been quite on the photo sharing forum for a while. Good to get back into the scene.
Originally posted by Bruce Clark I decided to amp up one of my rose photos in lightroom. Most of the editing was done on the background using radial gradients and brushes to blur, darken and boost saturation.
