Same Garden (!!) No 6
Posted By: K2 to K50, 12-25-2019, 12:46 AM

My friend had this curious bird bath in his garden:

(Taken by him with his Nikon).

Which attracted the expected visitor now and then:

(Taken by myself: KP with 55-300 PLM)

and the occasional less expected visitor (taken by myself with my KP with Pentax 100mm 2.8 Macro)

An imaginative arrangement. It makes an interesting and useful garden feature. Nice shots.

Glad you all liked these pics:

@imp - I see you derived the appreciation of the humour behind the the third image that prompted me to take the shot with the bee and submit these three pics.

@PJ1 - Yes, I also loved his bird bath arrangement the first time I saw it: quirky yet totally successful in fulfilling its purpose. It provides endless enjoyment via two comfortable chairs arranged inside his house positioned to allow a full view of the goings on at the bird bath.

The water pump that produced the water flow was powered by a battery that was constantly recharged by a small solar panel.

Thanks ToddK: Yes it is a very imaginative bird-bath - an "Alice in Wonderland" kind of concept. I loved it the first time I saw it.
