Let me introduce Nala
Lens: Samyang F1.4/85mm AS IF UMC Camera: K-70 Photo Location: Grace-Hollogne, Belgium ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F2

It's not easy to take her picture.
Each time I take my camera, she comes near me and "attacks" it.
The picture comes directly from the camera, only scaled down to 1350x900.

Excellent shot!

Dogs do not make good models. They always want to come up to the photographer. A 400mm would work better, but indoors that would be a challenge.

Cats make better models, especially when they are sitting in your spot on the couch.

Great looking pup! An idea to stop her from attacking the camera... bring it out, get her to be calm and sit, then give her a treat. Do that a couple of times and soon you will be able to move on to posing her!
We have a bull dog that used to attack the vacuum, after this technique he only looks for the treat after the vacuuming is done (which he still gets)!

They really don't... what is it with dogs? If they don't come up to you, they always notice the lens and look away
