Thanks! I don't shoot many landscapes in landscape anymore. I've been preferring the portrait/vertical shots. There is the exception though. It really depends on what the scene calls for and what orientation best supports the final framing/composition. In this case, the extra stuff that was on the horizontal wasn't beneficial to the shot, so instead of cropping and losing a whole bunch of the frame later, I shot it vertical.
Do what it takes to tell the story with the least amount of distractions, is my motto I've been on from when 2019 started and my images haven't been better.
