Very good shot. He has obviously decided you are not something he can eat, so the other possibilities are more likely.

He made up his mind pretty quickly after I took the shot, and he was gone in a flash.
Heh, it certainly looks as if he was caught in that moment of being startled into that awareness of "somebody there!!". Very nice job with the pic - that 1.4x TC lens certainly doesn't seem to effect the picture quality.

Thanks K2 to K50! The 1.4x TC does a very good job. The only minor issue with it is that it makes the bokeh much busier. However, that is a very minor issue...
